The project involved a complete strip-out and rebuild, including new plumbing, electrics, and improved hygiene standards, alongside a reworking of layout and materials. The works were carefully managed on site throughout, ensuring smooth progress, cost control, and a significant upgrade in both functionality and compliance.

“Ernest came over to Kingston Rowing Club as we needed trusted tradesmen to do a complete refurbishment of our Kitchen and Bar area. The two rooms had not been touched in over 40 years so it was high time to strip the areas back to the bear bones and start from the beginning with plumbing and electrics through to hygene improvements in the finishing and materials chosen. We felt in complete control at all times. Ernest was on site everyday to ensure everything ran smoothly and the project with some major alterations went to plan. We were able to keep costs under control and on budget which was extremely important while achieving a significan improvement in the functionality, floor plan, up-cycling and compliance of the two spaces. I can not recommend Up-Great highly enough, from start to finish it was a pleasure to have the team at the club and we’ll miss them now they have gone.”
